Not only baryonyx had that trait, but same with a range other spinosaurids; such as suchomimus and iritattor, even spinosaurus itself could have possibly had that trait to allow more food; and with the jaw closing speed of the crocodilian; it could have ate a wide range of prey items larger than previously thought whole.
