The fact that Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler held the World Heavyweight Title and RVD didn't don't sit right with me

I think part of the problem is that Rob according to Bruce just didn't go out of his way to have a relationship with Vince or the writers. He was just a chill guy who wanted to wrestle on his terms, and has gone on record saying that if WWE had kept the Hardcore Championship around and made it "his" belt, he would've been perfectly fine with it. So long as he got to work with guys he got along with, Rob was cool with whatever.

As for any possible "burial" of the guy, a lot of the top guys seemed to have a love hate relationship with him. They loved working with him, but they hated constantly getting kicked in the face and having to see the doctor every night. Jericho has an infamous story where backstage he was screaming about wanting to wrestle someone who can actually work after getting sick and tired of being busted open the hard way. I love Rob, and I wish he could've gotten a main event push in 01/02, but it's hard to argue that he had a hell of a career in whatever division he found himself in, and I'd argue WWE probably used him better than either ECW or TNA.

The only thing I have to say was I was
