Why Persona 3 & 4 Should NOT Get HD Remakes on Nintendo Switch or PS5

I love Persona 3 FES a lot but admittedly playing it AFTER Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 was a bit difficult and many other people feel the same way and think that Persona 3 as well as Persona 1 and 2 should get full remakes with P5 Royal's engine rather than an HD remaster like P4G saw on steam but even though I think full remakes from Atlus would have a good chance at being better games I think the cons greatly outweigh the pros!

I'd politely disagree. Persona 3 has no true definitive addition. Fes had missing content from portable, and portable had missing content from fes. Also in Dancing in Moonlight, the ENTIRE gekkoukan high school interior and exterior was rebuilt even though you don't set foot in there. Why rebuild entire environments for places we'll never go to? There's a remake coming. But what it needs is

Controllable party members
Safety mode
The Answer campaign
Female route
ALL social links return, both male and female routes
Shinjiro be in the party longer than one month (female route exclusive)
Rerecorded voice lines
Redone alternate endings
Get rid of the harem requirement, let players remain loyal to one girl
Expand tartarus more, the grinding can get VERY repetitive

This guy clearly just hates persona even if he says he doesn’t. Everyone in there right mind can tell you persons 3 was one of the best persona games out there. It’s like saying dark souls 2 wasn’t a must need and anticipated remaster. 🤷‍♂️

1 and 2 have a lot of half baked concepts that sound cool on paper, but didnt come to fruition, so if they remade them, with the intent of making their stories cohesive, id be fine with that.

If they take my mans lipgloss away though, I will scream.

Persona 1-4 already have upgraded versions, and all of these can be played on a modern television, with a PS4 controller, using the PSTV. I don't know why people didn't support this console more when it came out. The store where I got mine was practically giving them away. I pretty much consider my PSTV to be my "Persona Machine".

I started with 5 and went to 2. I loved it but fking damn, a remake would be amazing. Don’t add the social stuff tho. But fr the persona 2’s are extremely dated/ clunky. Especially since the psp remake of EP hasn’t been localized so playing the English p2 games in order can be an extremely frustrating experience at times

3 needs a definitive edition with all the content, I wouldn’t mind them keeping the same graphics but sprucing them up a bit, clearer textures a higher resolution. P4G could use some graphics polishing. 1 and 2 deserve full on graphics overhauls.
