Transcript:
It is fascinating how clinical question can survive the direction of my research. For instance, many people suffer from back pain on the leg pain, understanding why they experience pain and how to treat it is at the core of my research.
I'm Joshua Lee, the professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Biomedical Engineering. In my clinical role, I serve as a director of the Spine Fellowship program, where I do surgery to help patients. I also the director of the Spine Research. Our work is generously supported by multiple grant.
Our research holds great promise for improving human health in our lab. We are pioneering targeted therapy to trade discrimination through a simple preference injection. If successful, this innovation could revolutionize our car to treatment for disc herniation. The coming Manning Institute will bring my research to another much higher level. I hope with his help we can translate our bench side research to clinical practice.
