“Bitter Green” - The Amanda Cook Band

This weekend we had adjusted our schedules to play a concert in Virginia. The show was canceled months ago but since we were all available we decided to get together to rehearse... THEN IT SNOWED! ☃️❄️

We had a house full of food, instruments, and smartphones. So now we will be posting a video from “The Snowman Sessions” every other Sunday for a total of eight “episodes.” The videos will be a mixture of our material and songs we just simply enjoy playing.

For our first “episode” we wanted to honor a hero of ours who sadly passed away about a month ago, Tony Rice. “Bitter Green” was recorded on his “Cold On The Shoulder” album in 1984, and was written by Gordon Lightfoot. We all have always loved this song and we hope you enjoy our version in honor of Tony.
