Do enjoy your videos, but there is a lot wrong in this one.... born and raised in Louisiana here. Interesting fact, the architecture in the French Quarter is actually Spanish. New Orleans burned and it was rebuilt during a Spanish owned period. And there is so much more than po-boys in NOLA! Please try a variety of food on your next trip. The tours can be great and informative but just walk up and down the streets of the FQ and take in the culture all around. Lastly, I wish you would have chosen a better back drop for your video... there are some very picturesque places in the city that would have been more attractive. I am so glad to hear that you enjoy visiting our wonderful city and home you continue to have memorable experiences here. Your energy is fantastic.

Actually it's Spanish architecture, almost all the French buildings burned in the late 1700's.

Thank you for this awesome and informative video! My mums and I are moving to NOLA from Arizona in October and this really helps sum up concerns and answer some questions. My brother has lived in and around NOLA, Kenner and now in Metairie for 15 years. I finally got to visit him this past January and as soon as I got off the plane...I knew I was home! Plus, I am am a singer and musician and I am very keen to enjoy the scene! ^..^

It was chicory, a bitter herb, that was used during the war to supplement the coffee.

#7. The "t" is silent in the word beignet. It's pronounced: Ben Yeh

Thank you for mentioning creole people. Most people who make videos about the city don't adequately highlight us. I'm subscribing.

#2. To visit New Orleans, is not to visit the entire state of Louisiana. North Louisiana is like a totally different state than south Louisiana. You need to visit the rolling clay hills of Alexandria, Ruston, Shreveport and Grambling, Louisiana first. And then go back to New Orleans and find one hill that's not a man made levy!

Hint it would help if you knew a lot more about the city that you were talkin about

Good video, as always. Wish you’d included some info on the garden district and riding the trolleys. There are also some great museums there, such as the Mardis Gras museum and National Museum of WWII History. But overall, a good guide.
