This video shows the difference between laminar and turbulent flow. There are some main difference between these two types of flow, some of them are;
Laminar flow is a regular and smooth flow while turbulent flow is irregular flow.
Laminar flow usually occurs in small diameter and flow at low velocity whereas turbulent flow occurs in larger diameter and flow at high velocity.
The reynold's number for laminar flow is less than 2000 while for turbulent flow it is always greater than 4000. For more details please watch full video.

What if there are turbulent flow in laminar flow too? What if we just can't see them with the naked eye.

Hi, at times water flows through a river segment at a calm pace. Is this laminar flow?

Is there any value of diameter of Pipe or channel in which fluid will have laminar or turbulant flow?
