Here's how I found a difficult to find slow air leak in a tire. When I took the tire off, there was no air leaking and I could not locate where the leak was coming from. But when I put the tire on the car, and with all the weight of the car on the tire, then the tire would slowly leak air. Eventually I was able to locate the mysterious leak by using a bath submersion technique.
