Just to let you know, A Strange and Stubborn Endurance has a theme of dealing with past traumas and there is a very detailed account of a r*pe in the beginning of the book. Nothing like this happens again, but for how strong the scene is, I think it warrants a warning.

I love Half a Soul and enjoyed the others in the series. I just learned the author is doing a Victorian fairytale series, which I can't wait to read. Love how nice the game was to you, but the 700-page prompt! I got that on my game too, and decided to reread The Iliad and the Odyssey since I have been wanting to anyway. I hope your reads go well.
