Here's how I remember it with the "You suck" chants, so bear with me here.

I remember when they had a show in New York. Angle's theme hits. The crowd chants "you suck" along with the music. The following shows: nothing. The chants didn't resume until they went back to New York the following year. It was then after that, the chants were a regular thing.

Some years later, I remember Angle talking to Haas and Benjamin about the chants, saying how they weren't theirs, because they came out to Angle's theme at the time. I remember how Angle said he earned those "You suck".

At some point, those "you suck" chants became a sign of respect to Angle.
