PAN CULTRAL MUSIC ENSEMBLE

Pan-cultural World Music Ensemble은 서울예술대학교에서 시작한 새로운 음악 프로젝트로서 재즈의 보편적 언어를 통해 동·서양 음악 전통을 연결하며, 독창적이고 혁신적인 레퍼토리를 개발하고자 합니다. 이 프로젝트는 국제적인 콜라보를 수행하기 위해 혁신적인 텔레프레즌스 기술을 사용하여 연주자들이 원격 위치에서 함께 연주하는 것을 가능하게 합니다. 이러한 기술은 또한 최종 공연 때 라이브 음악, 실시간 디지털 이미지 및 사운드 프로세싱의 몰입형 믹스를 구현해 내어 청중에게 독특하고 매력적인 청각 및 시각 경험을 제공할 것입니다.

The Pan-cultural World Music Ensemble is a new music project initiated by the Seoul Institute of the Arts with the objective of developing an original and innovative repertory that bridges the Eastern and Western Music tradition, through the universal language of Jazz. In order to carry out the international collaboration, the project makes use of innovative telepresence technologies, allowing musicians to play together from remote locations. These technologies will be also integrated in the final performance, creating an immersive mix of live music, real time digital imaging and sound processing, offering a unique and engaging auditory and visual experience for the audience.
