kurt cobain will always be one of my biggest inspirations, and honestly I don't know if someone actually knows how much respect and deep admiration I have towards this man, there are no words. He's a legend to me and one of my favorite musicians of all times. I made this video on his honor.

also, I'm aware that kurt didn't say this quote but by the time I realized I had already uploaded it, my bad, but what we can take from it since it's already edited in, regardless it is something that we could've heard him say because of the way we all know he was, since it encourages you to be yourself. this song is so relatable, i NEVER heard something that hit so close to home. my bio dad hasn't passed, but before i was born, he developed a very severe case of schizophrenia + multi personality disorder.. he lost himself due to the illness and eventually became homeless & missing shortly after.. my family always told me he was an angel before his mental health declined and that they see him every time they look at me.. wow, haha, ty francis bean for this beautiful work of art♡

I saw your father play with his band Nirvana in Nov. 1993. In Toronto at Maple Leaf Gardens ( which no longer exists ) I was 15 at the time and I went with 3 of my friends from my high school. Well 4 counting my one friends older brother who was 17 and drove us since he was the only one who had a license. We were all huge Nirvana fans before the show but after that show....Nirvana became almost like our religion. On the drive home back to Kitchener after the concert we decided to start a band. Not even a week later I convinced my mom to rent a drum kit for me. And when it was time to return it I was a little shit and wouldn't tell her where it was. Horrible thing to do but I ended up playing that very kit for over a decade and seriously. Played gigs, won battle of the bands at our school, made demo's and basically had the best adolescence any kid could hope for. Since I can't ever thank your dad for being a huge influence that helped guide me to that path, I would be honored and humbled if you would allow me to instead thank you. Just want you to know how much your father and his art meant to a small group of misfit kids up in Ontario Canada. And how one show of his inspired those kids to throw a huge middle finger to our fears of being looked at funny, ridiculed, and made fun of, to flipping the script and making a whole shit ton of noise for over a decade. So thank you Ms. Cobain

Kurt is a legend no one will ever convince me otherwise. Sucks that he passed when he did. Sure millions of his true fans would of loved to of heard his music later in life and a duet with frances would of been amazing. R.I.P Kurt.
