Honestly you can see the different approaches for extracting laptime around such a long lap Amg utilizes stiffer suspension and more flat platform for aero efficiency which you can see if you look at minimum speeds on high speed corners and porsche uses less aero softer more compliant car to maximize its mechanical grip and more straightline speed its crazy to see how fast road cars are at the moment

I would rather see the stock gt2 rs version against the black series.

To be fair I thought the gap would be bigger. I thought the porsche looked far more composed and settled throughout the entire lap. Fair play to the Mercedes though.... Let's face it, Porsche have been chucking out track biased cars for some time and that merc did just fine against the 911.

i’d prefer comparison with 918, on new tyres it will outrun all modern supercars including GT2.
