2024 Hyundai Elantra N Facelift (PE) Reviewed! The official name is "The new Elantra N" though 👀

The edit I'm working on, I have a researcher from the R&D center sharing with us what's been upgraded on this Elantra N - he's responsible for R&H (Ride & Handling) for the EN, and also one of the people who drove IONIQ 5 N at GOS few weeks ago! Stay tuned!

I think its funny how there's default English subtitles but your English is so good that there's literally no need for it

Like serious your English is better than most natural born Americans

Currently shopping between...

Hyundai Elantra N
Honda Civic Type R
Toyota GR Corolla
Toyota GR86
Subaru WRX

Anyone else in the same boat? Thoughts?

My current car is a 2014 Ford Focus ST, which I bought brand new and I still love it and have tracked it 20+ times. But after 10 years, it'd be nice to get something new.

Incredible car. The dealership experience (including servicing the vehicle) in the U.S. is abysmal (to say the least) in every way. Although there exceptions to the rule this prevents me from the pulling the trigger on this brilliant N.

The wheel hop that everyone wants fixed is from when you launch the car.

I installed the Mando ESC10 on my Elantra N pre face-lift to help minimize the impact on speed bumps. I can verify it works even though I had to do some 'secret magic'. The bumps are so much smoother over harsh bumps in the new comfort setting and the option of making a custom suspension setting is also a welcome bonus. I'm not 100 percent sure, but when I put my Elantra N in Auto. Creep Off mode, I sense an auto hold sensation even though I know my parking brakes are not electronic... hmmm funny? I am considering switching the rear bumper cover on my 2022 to have the 2024 rear cover. I appreciate the fact the red trim is all the way around the bottom on the 24 instead of that small gap that is left on the rear corners on the 22. In my experience, the muffler takes around 10K miles to break in. During that time, the sound will change and will be noticeable. Once the exhaust settles in, at its quiet mode, it will be super stock quiet like an SEL here in the states. Once you hit the sport button or N button the exhaust makes the correct sound you come to expect. In North America, we have already been guaranteed by Albert Biermaan himself during interviews online and certain literature, the Elantra N will survive into atleast one more new ICE model. That is to say, after this CN7N-PE, there will be yet another Elantra N to drive. Hopefully, the future N includes all wheel drive, even if it means having an electric motor in the rear, and a hybrid powertrain upfront. I'll consider trading my 2022 for it for sure. My imagination is running wild with how the Elantra N will look for 2026/2027 or 2028. Let's see how Hyundai will finish off the decade for the Elantra N.

Could the regular seats that are in this model you're testing have anything to do with he "softer suspension"? I'm sure compared to the bucket seats, its more comfortable and can give you that softer feeling.

Awesome video:
Would you say the amount of pops and volume have decreased on the new 2024 compared to the 2023?
I am wanting to upgrade from a Kia Forte GT 2022 to an EN 2024 just for the exhaust pops and bangs, do you think the EN 2024 exhaust is still exciting or shall I look at a used 2023 because of the different exhaust note. I am afraid the new 2024 is more quiet and not exciting as the original EN 2022-23.

For the key fob, I'm disappointed that they made it bigger then the previous generation key fob. 21:08 not sure why the owner of that blue Veloster N would replace the H badge with a Genesis badge and yellow out the rear bumper which makes it sooo ugly!

I'm not sure if you're aware CarSceneKorea, but this will not be the last ICE N car. Albert Biermann himself confirmed that there WILL be a next generation N sedan, possibly with their 2.5T. We don't know which markets it will be available in, but we do know there will be a next gen ICE N car in the next few years.

First major review I’ve seen, and in English! Thank you

Hyundai again appears to have nerfed the USA models like always and removed multiple features from the USA version including the blind spot camera system (there is still some sort of warning), surround view, smart cruise control, highway drive assist, and possibly front/rear parking sensors. the USA price list and spec sheet only list those features on the limited, non-performance, trim. im really really disappointed. these are standard only on the limited trim and do not appear to be available as an option even on the N.

I wish we got all the options in the US market it's really sad we don't.

I still see no reason to upgrade to this from my 2023 that I just got 5/20/2023 and only has 1199 miles on it. They're still not offering ACC for the US market, and the 6-speed still doesn't have a sunroof. I will say the blind spot view monitor is a cool feature, which I'm sure they'll also leave off of US models. My tints are very dark so this would be helpful at night.
But in the end, i'll just be happy with my 2023. I love the car and will drive it for many years to come. Thanks for this video. Seems like you had a good time.
*edit* - hold up, they just let you take a car on a 3 hour test drive? "allotted to me" that's a crazy concept for us Americans. we pretty much just get to drive around a few blocks!

Well well well, if it isnt a long informational video on the 2024 EN! They are supposedly being released this upcoming fall beginning in early October. Im so ready to trade in my 2022 Elantra N Line for one of these badboys.👏🏾👏🏾💯 I will miss it but my car still looks brand new as if it just came off the lot so im sure it will be an easy trade in.

I really hope the adaptive cruise control makes it onto the US spec of the car. I’m very happy to see it’s on the Korean spec, I love it in traffic in our family Tucson Hybrid.

Albert Biermann has made an official disclosure where not only a "facelifted" / "pre-facelifted" Elantra/Avanté, but an ALL NEW EN/AN will be made and introduced before a grand send off into the sunset for the Avanté/i30/ElantraN. I may be biased but I LOVE my CN7N
