You can definitely hang dry your clothes in your house during the winter. I do it all year around. 🙂

I live in a Nordic country, even in winter it’s common to hang your clothes to dry. Of course inside on a drying rack. So it’s possible just fyi✌️

You know what’s even more eco friendly?? Waiting to have a full load to do a load.

You don’t have to use a dryer, you can hang your close on a clothingrack and let it dry inside. Most in the Netherlands ( and Europe) dont have a dryer and we use a clothing drying rack all year long

I like your videos I am trying to make my life more "zero waste" but I just don't get why everybody keeps calling it "zero waste" when it will never be it.
It is minimalizing the waste, and it is never zero.

I live in the UK where driers are not as common as they are in the states. You can dry them in the winter in the house. No drier needed

you can use a clothing rack. those upright bamboo ones (ikea has them and i’m sure a million other places) are not only super space saving but they actually look nice too. i live alone and almost never need more than my one rack to dry a full load. besides it humidifies dry winter air as it dries, i also love drying clothes on radiators but american home probably don’t have those

the amount of puritanical comments is wild, if you need to use a dryer for 30 minutes to have your clothes quicker in winter it’s not a big deal whatsoever. we need to stop getting mad and being so rigid about regular people using a dryer every now and then and redirect that anger to ginormous energy consumption and waste from corporations and the rich and the biggest polluter on earth which is the US military. we can all do our parts to limit our contributions but in the grand scheme of things her using a dryer for a few minutes isn’t even a fraction of what’s being done to the planet every millisecond by capitalism

I don’t understand why you can’t hang your clothes even if it’s winter

Use wool dryer balls! They last a lot longer and you can put a scent in them like lemongrass or rosemary! Totally recommend over the hedgehogs

You don’t HAVE to use the dryer just bc it’s winter…. literally just hang them inside 🙁 ALSO, it’s not exactly zero waste when you don’t even fill the damn machine, it was like 1/4th full girl………. zero waste WHERE lmao

I have wool dryer balls instead of plastic hedgehogs but I did just convert to detergent sheets. 😁

So why don't you hang lines up either in your laundry room or your basement or a room that you don't occupy daily that's what I do in the winter and the summer

Just a heads up, laundry sheets contain PVA which is plastic, so every time you use a laundry sheet it releases plastic into the water system that cannot be filtered out

What is a soap nut? I'm curiously confused 🤨

I used to have a dryer, they are amazing and so convenient when you don't own a clothesline or it is winter and humid or raining season so your clothes NEVER get dry before they start smelling like mold. But I much prefer air drying in the sunlight if I own a clothesline. Nothing beats that as UV lights kill bacteria and mold. And best of all, it is more enviromentally friendly.
