Whoever signs Soto, they will suffer for the next 15 years. He is not a game changer, and there is no way he is worth even 400m. With 700m plus asking price, you can still sign two top FA starters plus another slugger as well as one or two utility guys... no way Soto is that valuable .

He's not getting over 700 million like ohtani. He's a good hitter . But look who he had hit in front of him and after him. Thats why he hit 41 homers. His career high. Without the help around him. He more like 30 35 hrs with a 300 plus average. For a 1 or 2 tool type of player. 700 is too much. He aint worth that.
