When i heard IRyS tears for merch, i imagine it as "Nephilim tears". You know, like those item/materials on RPG game such as "Mandragora's roots", "Dragon heart", "Harpy's feather" and so on.

Joking aside, i'm glad that she feels appreciated because she's an amazing person, she's a "Hope" for a lot of people after all.

You never really see her get emotional. Irys always keeps being bright and positive on stream. I imagine things must be going on in her personal life to have triggered that as to everyone else too with all the crazy thats been happening. Whenever you see your vtuber down, cheer her up. I'm not saying to superchat, but even just commenting good things on their streams or twitter should help them as they do indeed read them. They're always streaming happily and entertaining us so we should give back to them.

I just watched a video about a toddler gave a hug towards a pizza delivery man, and it turns out he's just lost his daughter. Similar to this, that dude probably only want to say a good thing, but we dont know what other people been through in their life and our words/action might be the one they needed.
