Hello! Introducing Oscar my latest Foster Cat from the RSPCA Animal Shelter here in Melbourne, Australia. Oscar is 5yo and I;ve had him for a month. This was veeeeery close to a foster fail, I really wanted to keep him. Giving them back is the hardest part of fostering but I am unable to responsibly adopt at this stage in my life so this is a great option for me to do a community service and also get a little buddy at home every so often.

Be careful with the hair elastics. My cat also loved to play with them, he also liked eating them. Ended up needing surgery to have them removed.

I’ve had my fur child for almost 7 years now and I just don’t understand how anyone could get a pet and then surrender it 🥺 it breaks my heart.. my dog has so many issues and costs me a fortune in medication and food but he has done so much for me so I do everything I can for him.. i owe him everything.. pets give us so much love and affection the least we can do is look after them and love them In return.
If you are not willing to pay for vet bills, medication, walk them and look after them just don’t get them! They deserve better then you if you won’t give them a good life.
My dog sleeps in my bed, he snores and hogs the bed but I can’t sleep without him now.. he sleeps under the blankets cuddled up to me. He is the best I love my baby so much!

I really want to try fostering because I love animals and I’m not in a position to take care of an animal with a lifetime commitment yet. But I’m a delicate flower and I’m scared that I’ll feel guilty and sad when I need to give them away to their furrever home. 😭 I just need to remind myself that helping animals is more important than me protecting my feelings.

It's good people like you Emma an others that give these poor 🐈 cats a second chance of a normal life, l would absolutely love to foster a cat, but l have my two boys here they probably would all fight as my two a very protective of me an the house, there both 7 an 8 yrs in cat years, 🐈 😻 🐈‍⬛ 💙 😀 ❤ 🐈 😻 🐈‍⬛
