Got up to speed in 15 minutes, found all my reverb plugins. New compressors are nice and 1176ish. Much more control. New drive circuit popped the vocal right out. New EQ sound much closer to the original console. Buss compressor is transparent and very tunable. Very pleased!

It's been a while since I upgraded, but this version motivated me to upgrade and it was worth it. It's solid! I think this version is perfect. It's a mixing dream.

Been mixing on this since version 4. Still here, one thing I'd say is if you guys took the presonus/SSL route with a dedicated affordable controller I think you would definitely blow the competition away ❤ the new layout looks amazing. Good work guys as usual.

I severed ties with Avid after 15+ years. They will NEVER get another cent from me! I have been toying with MixBus previously, especially with acoustic and classical guitar recordings. I've liked what I've heard and seen so far. Recently acquired a PreSonus Revelator desktop mic, and along with it Studio One Artist. I'm pondering the $300 upgrade to go to Studio One Artist. Solid Company, solid DAW. Then I saw this upgrade notice in my emails. I'd be foolish not to try!! Great work Harrison!!

I updated to v9 since I recently found out I can actually use the software just as an analog mixer feeding inputs and sending outputs wherever I want using the loopback function of my RME raydat.
This is changing everything, I feel stupid for not thinking about it before. V9 is special, I already liked the processing on the previous versions but now, even the gates are fantastic, thank you!

What a big step! I already used it for some hours and it's great. Better control over compressor, super sounding second saturation flavour, a handy gate / expander in every channel. Wonderful!

it really is a masterpiece...The best DAW since I started using music software in the 80's on an Amiga ;-) and I've owned everything from SAW through Notator, DigiPerformer, Cakewalk, Nuendo, Cubase, Logic, Ableton, Reaper, Ptools etc etc I look forward to every new session so thanks team!

This amazing, been waiting for this type of overhaul for a while, thank you! To be completely honest, this feels a bit late considering LUNA and SSL 360, but I believe Mixbus has always had this in there, and this is where I'm about to start mixing my new digi-album. It would be nice to see the plugins get a similar update, allowing users to freely choose if oversampling or not, or adding drive or not, on plugins that are analog simulations of course, even at the obvious expense of latency if applied.

This new version is quite exciting. Automatic creation of wide groups of tracks from big VST's like Halion 7, great EQ and per channel controls. Very cool!

Nice you finally listened to people, that criticised you for not having a real analogue EQ and such.
This is a good step in this whole debacle, that many on here don't seem to be aware of (which is okay, since it doesn't have to be about controversy all the time)
You seem to have learned something along the way and I want to applaud that.
Your DAW and company are increasingly becoming something, I look fondly at... please don't backtrack.
