Such a fun little bike! I had one as my demonstrator back in 1986 when they were sold here in the U.S. for just one year. If the bike would have had an electric starter instead of just the kick start I honestly think we would have sold a lot of them. Even back in the mid eighties kick starting was already becoming a lost art/skill whatever you want to call it. I've been riding since I was 8 years old and it was sometimes a pain for me to kick start the bike.
Most of the time it was a 2 kick bike but every now and then it could become finicky and there I would be trying to kick it back to life and everyone would be gone having left me to keep trying to get her running. Not often but I would be lying to say it never happened. Still all in all a sweet riding charismatic machine. I would still love to find a cherry example to ride until I can't anymore!! What more can be said for an almost 40 year old motorcycle!
