I am so thankful for this song. It is really encouraging!!!! To chase after God is powerful. It's not that God is running away from us. It's not about that. When we sin, it separate us from God. Depending how long we stay in bondage of sin, trust me, it will be challenging to feel God's presence because sin separate us from God. So if you feel like God is not in your life, it is not HIM that moved, it is us. We need to be men and women after God's own heart just like David (1 Samuel 13; 14). Sin separated David from God; adultery and conspiracy to murder. Chasing after God can also mean to want to receive that chastisement from God after we sin as well. To search for God is one thing, but to embrace God's conviction and correction is well needed.Once we get back on track, God will surely restore our lives with many blessings. "Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37; 4).
