I had one of these in 1980. Worked for 6 weeks in a warehouse in Holland to earn 1200 Guilders and spent it all to buy this. I still have one of the original speakers that came with it.

I bought one yesterday on eBay but it doesn't have the dedicated amplifier block. It doesn't hurt because I don't need to. It is 100% functional. Now I have to wait for it to arrive because it comes from France :-)

I have a similar one given to me by my father in law but I never used it. Today I opened it up and tried its tuner as I do not have a tape. It has four ports for Speaker A and Speaker B each at the back. Does it mean four speakers can be attached to it?

Hello. If you can tell me the following in my Kenwood DC-20, when the radio is turned on in cassette mode, a rumble from the power supply passes through the speakers, and when playing and rewinding the cassette with the volume closed at 0, engine noise is also heard. The hum is quiet, and when the cassette is playing, the hum of the amplifier and the noise of the motor are inaudible. Is it like that on your Kenwood too?

You need a full box with original speakers. But those are damn hard to find. If ever. There is The full size one for sale at Ebay right now, without carry case. but 999$...
I had mine in my house since childhood. Never used it before, but now i use it daily :).
