What I love about musical theater is the way they prioritize the communication of the emotion over the exact musical accuracy, and it always works so well. Of course they are absurdly talented singers, but really being able to belt out a note that feels right even if its a little sharp or flat is really really really impressive, and it always makes the performance feel so much more alive than say a studio recording

What I love about sierra’s Christina in that moment was that she turned and belted and the smoke in the air perfectly looked like her soul escaping.
And Ramin will forever be my phantom and Hadley my Raoul ❤

2:00 OMG I NEVER SEE HUNCHBACK INCLUDED IN THESE AND ITS SO i was in my community’s production of hunchback that closed 2 weeks ago (i was in the choir!) and it was INSANE. the leads were SO GOOD and the set was amazing!! i loved being in the choir bc we made the whole show just. gah. amazing
