I like that schlatt pats the beast as he lays on it, like he isn’t sure it’s the right thing to do but is still feeding into the beast with slight affection as almost an afterthought

I really like this depiction of Schlatt. A big part of his character was his alcoholism and the effects it had on his life, so it's cool seeing something focusing on that. Yes he was an asshole, but there's more reasons why than just him wanting power. Hell, he died because of the long-term health effects of his alcoholism. He's probably one of the most interesting characters in the Dream SMP, and I love what you did with the animation.

This is well made representation of the inner demons that Schlatt faces and wanting to actually become a better person and not a wolf in sheep's clothing

The only reason I kind of liked Schlatt’s character arc was because his alcohol addiction takes a similar form to that of my great aunt. She would drink day and night, most of the time replacing water with wine. She died before I could even meet her because the alcohol burned a hole in her stomach.

It is really trippy listening to a song that is my alarm to get up in the morning. That lip syncing is so COOL! Love the colors and motion. <3 Love to see some Jschlatt content right when I'm reminiscing about season one :)

I can’t wait to see this! Jschlatt is my absolutely favorite creator, especially in MCYT. I love his arc and I still think he’s the best villain in the Dsmp.

Well done. It surprises me there’s so little sympathy for Schlatt’s character, given we’ve seen him battling with alcoholism since day one.

Yet he’s got far fewer apologists than c!Dream, whose demons are far less telegraphed…

I love the whole interpretation of part wolf/ram Schlatt!! It’s like the wolf is Schlatt’s version of Techno’s voices - something that pushes him towards the edge and sends him careening over

I really liked how Schlatt used his character and that was really the only reason I started liking the dsmp
It’s not the usual angst damp goes for with characters destroying eachother, it’s more of how Schlatt destroyed himself. I find inner conflict more interesting :)

Tho this song's about coffee, the lyrics apply to any imagery of addiction so it rly works well for Schlatt and his alcoholism. Amazing work as usual <3

Idk why..but 0:54 always gives me chills…it’s like- you would normally expect the song to end there…but then when it loops? I find it so satisfying…and it keeps making me come back to this video 🤷🏻
