For many, Christmas is not Christmas until “O Holy Night” is performed. I hope you’ll appreciate this gentle and reverential treatment for solo flugelhorn with piano. It’s still a tad early as Advent has not even begun, but nonetheless, Merry Christmas, everyone!
Thanks always to Birutė Stundžiaitė for her always-sensitive and musical playing. Thanks also to good ol’ reliable Dmitry for his top notch engineering work. And thanks, of course, to DFMusicInc for the continued support of our work.

Whatever mouthpiece you play on, you make the horn sound like butter melting on a hot knife. Mellow, full, lyrical. All I can say is God and his angles are truly smiling.

"Minuit, chrétiens", original music by French composer Adolphe Adam, 1847, original lyrics by poet Placide Cappeau. Usually sung for Christmas mass at midnight, in France. Thanks for this beautiful play with the flugelhorn.

Dang, something I can actually at least play the introduction of? (Finally was able to complete my first C to C octave), I'll have to tap out for now though when it starts hitting that D up there.
