I just realized how lucky I am to be able to communicate with my parents easily. My parents are both Japanese, but growing up in the US, I speak English so much better. But my parents encouraged me to continue going to Japanese School every Saturday since kindergarten, and now I'm really glad that I didn't quit. I can talk to my grandparents too, and they're really happy :)
Jenn, you're truly an inspiration, and you've taught me so many things-- thank you!!

I'm watching this now in 2016, I'm 26 just like you, argentinian. I feel so related to you when you say that you used to be a very envious girl and that you wanted to be everyone but yourself. Crazy how it's been more than a year since this was posted. And how much have changed for you ☺️ I'm so happy that all the good things are coming your way because you embraced yourself as who you are and given yourself a chance to try new things for a change.  I'm pretty new to your page and everything, but I thought that it as really interesting how you over analyzed things, simply things; such as conversations and gestures. I also think its interesting how you've dealt with some insecurities in your past. I think a lot of the time people feel like their the only one going through something when in reality there are a lot of people dealing with the same issues... It's pretty sweet that you opened up like that to hundreds of thousands of people though and I'm really glad you made it out of your dark cave experience aka "high school" and have realized just how special and unique and wonderful you're. 3 yrs ago of you is me now. my past taught me no one can be trusted & also coz these fats make me feel soooo afraid to meet new ppl, maybe thats why i like to be alone. i enjoy my me time so much!! sometimes i do spend 2-3 days at home & came out just to buy foods. . im working so hard to move on now. trying to diet, workout, makeup, wear beautiful clothes, well it's very hard. just like you, i changed a lil nit bcoz of youtube, it's so glad to find some ppl which inspire me a lot, & one of them is YOU!! i haven't watched this since it first came out, and just stumbled on it randomly today. i am graduating in less than a month, and just turned 23. going to take this as a sign that everything will work out, i'm scared but excited too :)
