I don’t remember a square being right in the middle of Germany’s flag between 1933-45

I like how the Swastika on the flag is blotted out but there’s still a ton of swastikas on their shirts

"The brown shirts" is a nickname given to them by both the journalists and theyr oponents in regards to theyr attire, theyr actual name was "Sturm Abteilung" (or SA for short) liturly meaning "assault detachment"

Easy to be intimidating when the population is unarmed...

Imagine supporting a political group with your heart and soul, then when your deified party got into power they KILLED YOU ALL. Talk about tieing loose ends 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Serves them right

What made them intimidating too was the fact that, at their height, they numbered in the millions. While the German army was still hamstrung by Versailles limits.

The night of the long knives was impactful as it brought the Brownshirts under the party, but won the NSDAP the army’s trust too

I like how he blurred the swastika on the flag but on the next picture there's an unblurred swastika on the arm on some guy

I'd like to point out before Adolf took power every political party had their own militias that attacked eachother in the streets
