I myself am an actual plus size, I usually dress in large to extra large. This isn't plus sized, this is obesity being sugar coated. I don't mean to be rude of cause any distress, but I myself am not skinny, but my size doesn't affect my health or how I live. I can still run, play sports and do everything my thin peers can, in slightly larger clothing. 6x is obese whether people want to recognize it or not and will cause serious health problems in the long run, and makes life more difficult overall. I'm all for body positivity, but I'm not all for sugar coating bad situations.

People saying that others are rude calling her fat or obese, no theyre not. Calling her beautyful while she puts her life in danger is worse. If this was a girl with anorexia all the fat people would say stuff like "omg eat a meal ffs" while its both just as dangerous

She literally made a video about how a dress looks on her 'size 6x body'. If her weight doesn't have anything to do with it, then tell me why it's specifically mentioned and brought attention to in the first place? Do you see other people going 'this is how it fits on my size m body'? This looks like an attempt to fish for compliments at the very least and tons of people are giving her the unhealthy validation and sugarcoated stuff she wants to hear. Obesity is not cute. If an alcoholic posted 'what my makeup looks like after my 7th drink', you wouldn't be telling them they look beautiful and stunning. Bullying is NOT the way to go, but neither is delusion and lies. Some people see absolutely nothing wrong with this and that's the problem.

A beautiful song reduced to validating someone’s unhealthy choices in life. I am all for body positivity but not at the risk of health and certainly not using a very powerful song as an excuse for being unhealthy.

P.s No hate or shade since this popped on FYP randomly, maybe this person is struggling and actually doing something to improve their health. But if not then this song isn’t created to validate the choice to remain unhealthy. I mean that’s the whole point of the song right, unhealthy steps for satisfying any beauty standard is wrong.

It’s definitely a reality check when you have to choose the biggest size when ordering clothes, at this point anyone saying that she’s perfect and that she doesn’t need to change anything is just putting her life in danger. She really needs to get some help.

Guys, saying someone looks good in a color or a dress is not being positively toxic. It's literally just saying that their skin or their hair or a certain clothing combination suits them nicely. I didn't wanna open this comment section for this reason man- leave these things alone. theyre so harmless
