I was born in Thailand. I was adopted by a black American and a Spaniard mother. I have a biracial brother and an older Spaniard brother. We are a colorful family. We have been called a Rainbow family/United Nations family. But we were a family. I never felt like I was not part of the family and so I am Asian but raised by a black American dad and white Spanish mom. We were a middle class family. And my parents were the best. I have had opportunities that I thank God that I had such great parents. and being part of such a mixed family, I have always accepted every person.

As a mixed raced person. I’m tired of explaining myself to people.

I’m glad she’s proud of her heritage. But the problem isn’t us it’s the everyone questioning us

I was worried she wouldn’t acknowledge any racism but then I realized, that’s her whole point. Instead of focusing on the negative we need to focus on the fact we’re not all that much different from one another. Yes the racism and violence matters but so does soo many other just as important things and she said everything perfectly!

I’m sorry you have to address these fools. But thank you, regardless, for being willing to share who you are. We all love you, obviously! 💙

Omg what a refresher to have someone competent, articulate, and not insane speaking to the American people. I hope she wins.

Yup, 100%. She has always been who she is. Yeah, there are cultural and identity layers to her, but at the core, she is simple who she is.
