I'm not Arab, but the only difference is my mom wouldn't scold me in front of my friends, only to a certain extend. But she will ask me to come with her to another room and boy oh boy... silently she'll yell and... well... and then she'll build up all the tension while she's around me and my friends. Her presence like a dark cloud, her look like lasers... and it won't help that she's not saying it aloud - I'l hear what she thinks. Man.

But I love my mom, she's the best and she understands me and supports me. Well, except when she doesn't understand me. :D But even remembering how I'd freeze at a certain type of stare of hers, her face is still the face of love and hospitality to me. ^^
