I was suffering from depression and decided that a cat might help. I decided on a Ragdoll. I had Sabrina, a blue point Ragdoll. I loved her to pieces and she truly helped me over the years. She was very affectionate and always wanted to be in the same room as me. She died when she was 13 years old of kidney failure. I sure miss her. Enjoy your precious little one.

I don't know if it's just me, but I think her voice has a really calming effect..

I love how you gave him his own time until he wanted to come out the carrier. He's adorable!

Congratulations, he’s lovely. All cats need love regardless of where they come from, there’s no need to apologise for offering a loving home to Echo. Enjoy your new family member. It’s such a special time xx

I had a Ragdoll for 19 years. Amazing cat like no other. He was indoor and outdoor. Never went to far. Never killed anything. Would wait for me outside at exactly the same time every work day, so we could come in together. He had personality of a dog. Followed me everywhere. He was a bit cross eyed. Oh how I miss him...

I got a Ragdoll kitten for an Easter present when I was 23 years old. I am now 35 years old and I STILL have him! He’s VERY healthy and I believe he will live a wonderful long life! He will be 13 years old on March 22nd and he STILL plays like a kitten. I love how laid back he is, and he’s awesome with my 2 year old Nephew. Their personalities are like no other cat and mine even talks! He says “Ma” and “mom” and he knows 5 tricks and always gets them right... anyways Your kitten is absolutely beautiful! Get ready for a journey of a lifetime with him!!!! 😻

ALL animals deserve a home no matter where you get them from!

I work at a cat rescue centre and I agree that adoption isn't for everyone. Most cats in rescue centres come with horrible pasts, so it's very important to find them a home that can cater to their individual needs. Not everyone can do that.
I think people should definitely adopt where possible, but I can't condemn someone for buying a cat when they already tried adopting and it didn't work for them.
Echo looks like a real sweetheart. I wish you and him many joyful years together. 🤍

He is an absolute sweetie, I can see you will be an excellent cat mum, he’s a lucky little boy and so beautiful ❤️

I see a lot of comments saying "all kitties need homes not just rescues", and while this is true, it diminishes the importance of adopting cats who really need it. Breeding homes already look after the cats, cats in shelters are often put at risk for euthanization and have a worse life. I also have a ragdoll that I got from a friend as she couldn't watch after her anymore, but to everyone reading this, please adopt as your first option always! Love this video, a very lovely kitten :)

Ragdolls have always been my favourite cats! So so so cute! This video made me wish I had filmed my dog more when he was a puppy. You are going to have all these beautiful memories to look back on.

He's so adorable for sure. Definitely cuteness overload. But you can never have too much. Congratulations on your new kitten.

That has to be the cutest little doll! I have 5 cats, all adoptions. "adopting" isn't for everyone, but it is important for most people to understand that a cat is a commitment. Your Echo has a wonderful to new home and people to 'make his own'. Grats on that cutie!
