I think all politicians should be audited. Hunter is not a politician and should not be subject to scrutiny before Congress over private videos, late taxes or any other reason. He is a private citizen.

I worked for IRS. It is rare that they charge anyone if they make restitution. To think he got special treatment is correct because he is one of a handful who got charged with misdemeanors for his tax return. Let's hope CNN points that out just how rare that is

Looking in from Ireland I always think the USA law system is strange. There is no such thing in Ireland as a plea deal. If there are charges you go to trial. End of story. No settling how much prison time between lawyers before a trial.

A “whistleblower” is an official status given to someone who files their assertion with the agency. They are then given protected status based on the evidence they provide. And the situation is investigated & decided on the evidence. It’s not a nickname bestowed by Jim Jordan. If this was true why did they leave out the IRS IG?
