If only I could afford a Pico 4 to need to afford one of these.
The clip-on forehead is a great idea though, I'd like to see the idea ported to other headsets, namely the Quest 1 since I still use that and the mounting pressure I need to keep it stable really gets harsh over time, even using the much thicker and less dense VRCover cushion that was originally meant for my Odyssey+. Thankfully, the O+ cushion is less dense to the point that I get a similar FoV when on the head as the intended interface for that VRCover frame.
Honestly, I've found that's the ideal interface for VR so far; extremely thick, but extremely compressible.

That's interesting but I don't like the Kickstarter idea, I wish they just sold it directly.
VR Cover which I trust very much told me they will have a few facial interfaces for the Pico, it will be interesting to see as well.

Thanks for the great video! I just got my Pico 4 a couple of days ago, and when I was listening to your requests for a new interface, I was hoping you'd mention all my issues and you nailed them all!

Softer, closer, and more circumferential light blocking. I tried using adhesive Velcro to attach a Quest 2 VR Cover face pad to Pico 4, and it worked but it made the lenses so far away, it was just not feasible 🙃.

I know it's only a matter of time, but once the facial interface is solved, this will be the PCVR headset for me, until maybe PiMax, Apple, Varjo or Meta's next headsets 😁

I've backed the project as I use my Pico 4 daily & this is the only modification I have really been waiting for.

I'm not sure that I will use the halo part as I've read lots of quest pro users prefer an over the head strap rather than this. I also think it would make me feel warm as more of my head is covered.

I am looking forward to seeing if there is a noticeable difference in FOV. Hopefully we will not be disappointed

To me one of the issues with the Pico 4 facial interface was the angle of surface that touched your forehead. It seemed to only make contact with the edge of the cushion and not flat like every other vr headset I've owned. This one seems to have the same issue.

A front to back top of the head strap to further distribute (dilute 😉) the weight. I think that Pico leaving that out was a significant oversight. Just my input, right or wrong. THANKS!

Hi, at the moment I have the Reverb G2 and I'm quite happy with it but I'm afraid that due to my IPD at 72 it won't be fully exploited and that I myself can't see well as the Reverb has only 68 IPD range.
Having bought an rtx 4090 would things improve for me with the Pico 4 ? I would also be able to set my IPD correctly.
Do you say that the possibility of using a correct IPD improves many things?
Im use only Fligh simulator 2020
