I heard that the presonus wanted to reproduce the flatest and closest sound possible from recording conditions. Can this explain why they sound so dry in this video?

I think Mackie' bass is overmasking middle range.

geez what a difference...Mackies really sound like budget monitors..very muddy in some parts, and too piercing in the highs at the same time...not too good honestly. The Presonus are pretty impresive for that money...even in general they sound quite..hmm good.

The presonus sounds terrible in this video. It also sounds terrible in real life. A friend of mine owns a pair and he hates it.
