We leave our campsite on Duck Creek at 6:15 in anticipation of hiking into Red's Meadow Resort for some good food. We covered the 11 miles in 6 hours in time for lunch.
We are 2 Canadians and 2 Americans who have backpacked together before on the PCT in Oregon and Washington. The 2 Canadians are not familiar with this section of trail. We were able to rent an A-frame 2 bedroom cabin at the resort for one night.
