Newcastle's under-23s produced a five-star performance to thrash local rivals Sunderland at St. James' Park on Monday night.

Owen Bailey, Cal Roberts, Luke Charman (2) and Elias Sörensen scored the goals for the impressive young Magpies.

Who is that dude in number 16 i think? The brown lad. He was very impressive. A few weeks rehearsing pass acuracy/final ball and i think he is good enough to be knocking on rafas door. He skinned some of the players with ease, excellent signing. Thought our keeper looked a bit nervy, he did not come out of the box much, he should not let one error he made lower his confidence. He will make several more serious blunders in his career, like all players will, however he shouldn't let this drain his confidence one iota, look forwards to seeing him command the box again and push that back 4 up the field. Looks like we got a cracking bunch of lads coming through!

The build up play, cross and finish for goal No. 3 was wirld class to be fair. Was it number 8 with the flick dummy and back heel? Who is he?
