RETHYMNO - Exploring another city in Crete by car

Rethymno, also known as Rethimno and Rethymnon, is a city between our stay in Bali and the next bigger city, which is Chania.

After the diving sessions we took our time to explore other parts of Crete by car. We explored Rethymno and had lunch at Zefyros, a family taverna since 1966. The food was good but the portions was small compared to the restaurants in Bali.
The jumbo shrimp (only 1) which was cooked in Ouzo was pretty expensive too - almost 20 euros for 1 shrimp and a little rice. You can have a HUGE meal with 20 euros in other restaurants!

The fortress was interesting too and the area was really huge with a lot of good views to the sea.
