People like her need to have the full support of society, and often they don’t. Japan has an abundance of old people… perhaps they should create a grandparent-grandkid matchmaking service where day care could be provided by elderly volunteers who want something to do. That would remove one of the biggest expenses with kids.

You expect people to live like that and push them to have babies? Get real.

Please give more wages (and not below or minimum wages), no OT - if not possible compensate the extra hours, have women be allowed to work and not forced to be incubators, and more law changes, make house rates affordable, and maybe even make it normal to have holidays. That would be a start…

If you ever seen the movie “children of men” you know what’s going on……This movie is becoming more and more relevant every day. The same thing is happening around the world. The only continents that are producing a lot kids is Africa and South America.

People move to the city cause they see no benifit to live in the country or outside small towns. There needs to be schools, shopping, activities that keep them there

Salute to the parents for doing their part to preserve their nation. More Japanese should be like them.

That house is disgusting. I lived across the street from a family of 14 and their house was clean and tidy. This family is out of control. That level or dingy living is not a normal for Japan.

Everywhere I go, marriages and pregnancies seem to happen. Maybe I should go to Japan so that they have a population boom.
