WCDRR: How healthy animals protect livelihoods and build resilience, Eugenia Morales

World Animal Protection and the local government have been working to increase the resilience of livestock producers of Chihuahua, which have been facing several years of a devastating drought. Our approach delivered an innovative and effective response that considered both animals’ and peoples’ needs and demonstrated how integrated planning that includes the protection of livelihoods is key to forging community resilience.
