The Ducati Streetfighter 848 is naked, aggressive and littered with performance products.

MotoGeo's Jamie Robinson tells you all about the machine that he took on the Italian Adventure and what gives the Streetfighter lots of character.

Moto + review = MotoGeo

Products used by MotoGeo:

Motorbike: Ducati Streetfighter 848

I am in absolute agreement with everything you said. It's one of the best models I've brought out in a long time for it well-balanced space and it's surprisingly comfortable ride plus the fact that you don't have to suffer it slow speeds with low RPM in the city

According to motogeo every bike is the best bike ever.

I absolutely love my 848 Streetfighter and can't think of anything I'd trade it for!

This is the video that inspired me to travel to Bologna, rent a bike and ride SP65!
Thanks Jamie! I did exactly what you said!

my dad got one and she's so amazing. But my dad has kinda customized it a litte and his looks so much better (different mirrors, carbbon everywhere and alot more details going on).
I love her!

This is one of my collection of six. And it's an amazing bike.

Had a 2012. Was a great bike for all the same reasons you mentioned. A few negatives were the plastic fuel tank can swell if you have to use ethanol fuel, the clutch was heavy, it had a slow turn into corners, and the dash was too basic. I sold it for an 1199 Panigale and definitely miss it's comfort and lower running costs.

The mirrors look pretty good, I like these little mirrors better than the long ones like on the z1000

Am I the only person that misses analog gauges. The new digital displays aren't appealing to me.

would love to ride that. What a beautiful bike she is

The only thing keeping me from considering a Ducati as my next bike is that I do all of my own maintenance, including valve adjustments, and on a Ducati that's a no go.

Nice review. You need to get your hands on the s1000r.

I don't think I've ever heard you mention a bikes negatives in any review so far.

I'm 90 percent there with buying this bike...but I worry about reliability? I've seen one for £6500 with 22K on the clock 2014 plate. advise please.

Review without pointing any weaknesses or negatives of the bike, it's an advertisement not a review. Jamie you should really say something more about the bike that what the Ducati's marketing department has to say.

I own a black streetfighter 848, the foot pegs aren't grippy, your feet will slip, you need a special 'C' spanner to adjust the chain that does not come with the bike, but it really puts a smile on my face every time I ride it

A couple of years ago, I REALLY wanted this bike to work for me.
It didn't, the ergo's just made it annoying, and quite uncomfortable, especially on my wrists.
As I said, I wanted this bike so much, but in the end I went for a fully tricked out Street Triple R complete with quickshifter and Arrows.
I hope the new 899 version is an improvement.

I've had just bought one like this last month, black color, 2013 model because we don't have 2014 here in Brazil.
The bike is funny and strong a lot. My last one was a yamaha FZ6N, good bike too.
Unfortunatelly the price for us is about $ 25000, 00... But I'm happy.. Is a Ducati...
