Take a close look at this image, which line do you think is longer? Now take a closer look. Incredible as it may seem, and your brain may tell you that I’m lying to you, both lines are of the same length.

In "Thinking, Fast and Slow," psychologists Daniel Kahneman and Amos Teversky dive into the intricacies of the two different “brains” that govern our thinking.

The first brain is referred to as "system 1", is automatic, and often influenced by emotions. The second brain, "system 2", is more logical and slower to process information.

It was your system one brain that told you to pick line one but after showing you the second image, your system two brain woke up and realized that both lines are the same.

Kahneman explores how these two brains interact with each other and how they can sometimes lead to errors in decision-making.

Books like this go great with the mindfulness meditation book "30 Days to Overcome Procrastination" by Harper Daniels. I think both are on Amz.

I just read this book. Your summary is very good and to the point, but I do recommend reading the book for more detail and background.
