Hi Jess.. I have been waiting a while for you to run into my people. I started on Harleys but switched after many years because I wanted to go to places they could not take me (pre pan-am). I am also glad that you met and partnered with my good friends Ben and Mary from Motocamp Nerd. They are truly the best and most honest people I know. Be careful Jess, you will be riding with us off road soon... and before you say it.. yes you absolutely can. This bug bites hard.... I would consider adding a small off road dual sport (not replacing anything) to your stable.... ADV is so much fun...

It was great to see you at MMM! Tiffany was great to ride with! Jealous of your route, but had put some Knobbies on the Africa Twin so wanted to run them! That challenge looked fun...and dangerous! When I was a kid we had so many places to go off roading ya know, for free. Now you have to drive forever to a park and pay to ride. Miss the good ole days.

Not an ADV rider but I live in this area and have a Harley Roadster. You said Tapoco right (it’s short for Tallassee Power Company). I stayed once in the dead of winter between Christmas and NYE and there were nights it was empty and with the crisp cold air and Christmas lights, it was amazing. I love when you get to this area and show love to it and introduce new people to it.

Have went to MMM several times. We stayed at another campground because the main was a mud hole a few times. I'll wait until later in the year now, don't like waking up to ice on my tent anymore. Glad you enjoyed it, beautiful area.
