I've done some research and it seems that Japan, or more precisely, Tokyo, is a very popular destination for vintage/secondhand designer goods. To people thinking this is fake, Japan has very, very strict laws about fake items so it wouldn't make sense to sell fakes so blatantly like this.

Japan is known for being a GREAT place to buy pre-loved designer bags from bc of their popularity there, the owners’ commonly keep meticulous care/upkeep, as well as the country’s VERY strict counterfeit laws/harsh penalties for being caught etc…
