CRAZY LEGACY MACHINE THUNDERDOME BY MB&F

Today, we have the pleasure to talk about our good friend Max Busser, on MB&F latest release, the Legacy Machine Thunderdome. A timepiece he has been dreaming of since quite a while. As the LM1, LM2 and LM101 the movement was developed in collaboration with Kari Voutilainen and to be able to add a spectacular kind of Gyrotourbillon, MB&F took on board Mr Eric Coudray.
The idea of Max for this timepiece was to manage to have the two greatest alive watchmakers working on the same project. The first one is Kari Voutilainen who indeed has been working for more than 10 years with MB&F and the second is Eric Coudray whom Max knows since his days at Jaeger-LeCoultre. That was where Eric invented the Gyrotourbillon, the first multi-axes tourbillon ever.
MB&F will produce only two pieces a month and it will be an initial launch series of thirty three pieces in platinum worldwide as well as ten in tantalum which will be only available at The Hour Glass boutique for their fortieth anniversary.

I'd love the platinum version but with the darker blue guilloche dial from the tantalum The Hour Glass variation, and further the time dial to have a centre part inlaid with lapis lazuli and an outer section in enamel or white lacquer.
That would be my personal ultimate combo. 💙

However, any version of this is a WANT, and supremely droolworthy! 🤤
