Best value is the Preferred trim. No start/stop or cylinder deactivation, but still have the best features of a power lift gate, power seats and moon roof. In 2003 this package included the Bose System, but was removed mid-year due to supply chain issues. Still for $32, 500 MSRP, and with the dealer discounts and incentives, it is a great value.

I purchased the 2025 Premium Plus. It is exactly what I needed. Love the luxury feel of the interior. Wished there was a panoramic moon roof in place of the standard.

No hate intended, but when you're talking about the '25 CX-5 and the opening and closing footage is showing us a pre-2022 CX-5 (before the styling refresh), there's a disconnect. This said as a very satisfied owner of a '23 Carbon Edition.

I purchased a Machine Gray 2025 CX-5 Turbo Premium two weeks ago. It’s one awesome suv!

I wish the Turbo Premium trim had a red leather interior option because that would look perfect in the CX-5. I also wish the Signature had a lighter interior color option so you don't have to be stuck with the Caturra Brown Nappa leather

Bought a platinum quartz metallic turbo premium a month ago. As much fun to drive as my Audi! Gas mileage has been great (we live at 7200’) and I’ve been putting in premium gas.

Good analysis, but we went with the 2025 Base S, black on black... seldom does anything other than luggage go behind us, so don't need to heat/cool the luggage and since infotainment is infotainment and it is standard (except for the wireless feature -- again, unneeded), the only thing we gave up really was privacy glass for the non-existent rear passengers -- oh, and with dealer incentives it was well below $30K... Mazda drivability included.

I went with the Preferred trim level, very happy with it at just under $35K out the door.

I purchased a 2020 Mazda CX-5 a few years ago with the Grand Touring trim, though it seems that’s no longer available. The Premium Plus trim now seems to be the closest equivalent, and I agree it’s likely the sweet spot in terms of features.

Love these Mazdas. Worth the money. Stylish premium and realiable. And hey! I have no problem with cylinder deactivation with my cx5 carbon edition.

Some of the video clips are of older model years of the CX-5. You can tell by the front grill, rear tail lights and the infotainment screen apps if it's an older version, pre-updated.

Do you have any information on the 2026 cx5? if they keep the model could they offer gas only versions?

I wish I afford a nice car like the cx-5😢

You left out a lot of information such as the interior color of the carbon turbo trim, and then Napa leather in the signature trim.

The " S " trim is the only one without tainted rear windows. I have an S. I didn't want tainted windows.

Does anyone know if Sirius and navigation are available on all models? I know ones with nav just need the SD card to get it activated but I wondered it is restricted to the higher trim levels.

I like Mazda (& enjoy my 2022 CX-30 CE), but won't buy anything with a turbo engine, cylinder-deactivation or start/stop (none of which my CX-30 has, thankfully) - all of which Mazda is heavy on these days across all their models except the MX-5 Miata (which does interest me for a 2025 purchase).

Have the 2024. Love everything but it’s a gas guzzler. I swear you can actually see that needle moving on highway trips.

Do U Sir, know if Mazda makes a suv, that is RWD, non TURBO, Natural Aspirated engine, (or Dir. Igntn. with ports), TIMING CHAIN, and with a Automatic Transmission? OR, is there any suv avail. that has these features? I would like to get such a suv. The INFINITI used to have the FX35, but the fools stop making it.
