The first mori only happens on players who have a legendary item, aka those who roll a 20 while opening a chest. It's a 1 in 20 basically.

I will say that the DbD map creators never get enough credit. They always deliver with how good the maps always look. The Raccoon City map still amazes me how much it looks exactly like its counterpart in RE2, albeit just scaled down!

On the survivors’ side, whenever they open a treasure chest, an animation plays of a D20 roll. On a roll of 20 (colloquially known as a “Nat 20”), the Eye or Hand of Vecna appears.
Therefore, there is a 2.5% chance for the eye and a 2.5% chance for the hand every time a chest is opened.

A roll of 1 (or a “Nat 1”) converts the chest into a mimic that traps nearby survivors. A purple addon (The Bag of Holding) guarantees that 2 of the 7 treasure chests roll a 1.

There are mimic chests on the map. Basically if the chest as small eyes on it, its a mimic. As opening the chest you roll a dice and the number tells you the rarity of the item you get.

I don’t care about D&D but this killer is crazy cool. I’m not trying to start an argument, but this chapter has really made a lot of people look very selfish. This is so clearly a passion project, sure we haven’t seen this requested too much from the community, but y’know people with interests make the game too right? The amount of passion and love here is so potent it’s crazy. I’m more than willing to let the devs have this one because it’s cool to see. Awesome video as always spookyloopz🙏🏻

This killer is an evil immortal undying wizard with four different spells in his spellbook which give him mobility, information, an M2, and an antiloop.

Trapper is just some guy with a bunch of bear traps... which survivors can disarm btw.

the few things i noticed as a dnd player from ths vid: Veccnas Spell book is called The Book of Vile Darkness and its a book sought after by Lichs and necromancers because of its potential in capable hands. a Lich is just a wizard who couldnt bring themselves to part with life so they underwent a ritual to bind their soul within an item called a Phylactery, whenever a lich dies their soul returns the phylactery where they can comeback to life after a delay (no mechanics for this unfortuantly in game but still cool) and the hand and eye of Veccna were parts of Veccnas body that were cut off by Kas (Veccnas second in command who betrayed him) and every time Veccna returns he seeks out his lost body parts because they make him whole but also because they are often used against him (think the one ring from lotr and Sauron).

i think the mori at 13:21 has something to do with what item the survivor is holding bc it says "recover artifact" compared to the one at 15:00 which just said "kill". For the one at the 13 minute the survivor might have had the hand or the eye on there body which could've unlocked a secret mori?

I’ve never said this about a chapter before, but this chapter genuinely feels unreal. The power being 4 different things is insane, the fly looks crazy, the map seems so in depth and elaborate, this is just crazy
