As a guy who worked on construction sites during summers, I have to tell you how gratefull we were when the client or in some cases even neighbors provided us with water or sandwiches. A small gesture, but it makes a big difference!

Love the band saw zero clearance idea. Never thought of that and it is now going to be SOP in my shop. Thanks a bunch

Great tips. Got the dovetail jig and stop block today, you can feel the quality when you pick them up!

I love the bandsaw table trick.

And I received my stopblock this past week. Beautiful craftsmanship. I’m super excited to use it.

I was actually disappointed when we got to the end of this video, because I wanted the tips to keep on coming. What I like about your channel is that it is always a great return on the time invested in viewing. I knew the bandsaw trick, because I worked 40 years in a metal shop as a time served toolmaker, but now I am retired and discovering the joy of working with wood, and the learning process is a big part of what makes it so rewarding. So thanks for upskilling this old feller.

The bandsaw tearout trick is genius. I have a benchtop bandsaw that I use on very small cuts. They often go down the hole. I've thought of making my own 0 clearance button for it. But this is much faster and re-usable.

"really hard for me not to swear there". Man, for a split second I thought you were going to drop one. I'd enjoy the heck out of hanging out with you in the shop for day!

Yeah I know the tear out issue on the router, I make a lot of cutting boards, and during the round over I get tear out. Then have to clean it up. As always a great video, and always helpful.

Great tip for the bandsaw! Are there similar Tips for drilling holes? I have certainly reduced tear out with a backer board and tape, but I till have a hard time getting a super clean edge when cross dwelling, or even with pocket holes I intend to cap off.
