Victory Leo - Takara Robot Masters

A wonderful little figure that is nearly 100% accurate to it's G1 cousin. Thankfully, you can pick this figure up for a mear fraction of the cost. Plus it has lots and lots of guns. Always a plus.

@baltmatrix It does also transform into a jet, which in turn combines with Star Sabre's vehicle mode (kind of like Formation Scream from the Beast Wars anime)

Nice review. Though you forgot to mention that leo's BFG can also be plugged in just above his hip in robot mode

I had this set and My starsabre broke but I have the original G1 figure so i have a huge victory sabre on my shelf

his legs do move forwards, there is a joint, you just need to be careful, is a balljoint but is so limmited it is more like a swivel, the outward movement do help a little at posing though

actually, victory leo has a vehicle mode but I don't like it. it is simply lion mode flipped around. the guns flip around pointing at the feet. the big gun and missile can attach in between the main guns. the front feet will go so that the back will rest nicely. the back feet will be put straight on the side of the robot feet facing back. the vehicle mode of victory leo can combine with star saber

i have bootleg versions of theese guys they're pretty good the only differance is no launching missile and it came with an extra gun for star saber

The version I have came from the Dollar Store. Victory Saber can't go into ship mode, and they can't combine to ship mode. They do make Star Saber though, so I am content. Lol

So, maybe it is just me, but it sounds like the plastic quality for the figures is a little lacking. Is that an issue for your set, or does the plastic only sound cheep? I'm just curious.
