As a person in the UK I always find it so strange that Americans / Canadians don't have kettles in their homes as standard. Literally everyone has one here! I can't imagine life without it 😀 So glad you have discovered them! They are great for cooking dried spaghetti because you can pour the boiling water all over the pasta and make it all soften and slide down into the water from the get go 😀

Thank you so much for showing us the link to the Cookbook stand. I've always wanted one! Well, since I saw yours that is.. (sad isn’t it) 😂 However, the fact that your recipe book which I've duly ordered, is ring bound which mean it stays flat and open at the page, to me shows you know what your talking about regarding cooking. You have a genuine love for it and that it's not simply all about the money. I just got my first Cosori dual blaze or whatever it's called as a result of watching your YouTube presentations and I have to say, though I was a bit scared of it at first, I listened and refered back to you and now I'm loving it!

They make these in a was cloth size. I love them! So soft. I don’t use regular terry cloths any more.

Most Europeans and Canadians think Americans are weird because we don’t have electric kettles and are baffled that we boil water in the microwave. I believe I’ve heard it’s because their appliances are on 220-240 and we’re on 120 volts. So their kettles boil even faster and it’s just super fast for them to use and it never caught on here because it’s not much faster sometimes than a microwave, a stover tip, or a tea kettle.

Also, girl you gotta get you a plastic lettuce knife. Keeps the lettuce from browning due to the metal knife.

Hi Cathy!!! I made it! I used to have a water pot years ago and it was fabulous! I used it alot. I think I may have even put milk in mine because I know I used it for cream of wheat with sugar free maple syrup in it and I use milk for that. It depends on how hot how fast so it doesn't burn, but it's and idea. I think you'll love it. Same with milk for hot cocoa. It tastes so much better and you get the vitamin D you need and kids don't get fat on milk. If you check it out I'd love to know if it worked with this one. thanks. Hope you have been well.

Everyone in Australia has a kettle. It was only when travelling in the US I realised they were uncommon there. I couldn’t get one in the hotel I was staying in. 😆

OXO brand salad spinner?? Over here in the UK most people know OXO as a brand of stock cubes not kitchen ware but it looked good.

I've had my OXO salad spinner for over 20 yrs. Mine has a white lid and a rubber stopper, otherwise the same. I have some arthritis in my thumbs, so I stop it with the handle of a round wooden spoon. I give this a thumbs up. It's a workhorse.
