We have a mechanic. Just a brilliant guy. Single mechanic shop. We buy the parts and he puts them on. He always test drives his repair’s. He is second to none. We are lucky.

A lot of people hate the dealership experience and would pay extra to escape it.

Original owner of a 2007 Tacoma X-Runner. Wanted a rear drive manual with a V6. Hopefully it’s never totaled…no replacements. Toyota, please make a simple truck again.

The issue is that we put our trust in mechanics and car dealers to do their job and fix the problem, not make it worse. Unfortunately, they want our money, but don’t want to put forth their best effort to fix the problem. We need more people like Scotty!

The best way to look for a car is searching for the cars with manual transmission.

My very last trip to a new vehicle dealership was in 2002 when I bought my very last new vehicle and still have it. I have never stepped foot on a used lot and never will. I only buy used now and only from owners in my area. I have the abilities and time to fix what needs fixed and disable the silly stuff like cameras and such. New/newer vehicles nowadays is a gamble I don't care to take.

America killing off manual transmission pickup trucks... So sad

If the A/C compressor was changed out and that was the issue, the tech should've changed out the dryer/receiver too. The dryer/receiver probably had old A/C compressor shavings in it and through it into the new compressor.

When the A/C repair shop recommends to replace the dryer/receiver, DO it. They are not trying to upsell you on anything.

Scotty I just bought a brand new 2025 Mazda CX-30 GX base model. It’s pretty loaded for a base model. I bought the crystal Red colour. I love it. With taxes and extended warranty with an 8 year unlimited number to bumper warranty I paid $36, 840 Canadian bucks.
I couldn’t be happier.

Have you tested this model? I have driven a Mazda for 22 years now. It’s my first SUV. I always drove Mazda 3 sports. Very reliable vehicles and very few repairs. I think Mazda builds a really good car. You get the Japanese technology for a really decent price. What do you think?

😂 if y'all want to buy new car cheaper, just dont buy em, keep driving your old car as long as possible, that way the dealer will begging us back with reasonable prices.

When I can buy a 1967 Chevy C-10, straight six, on line, I will. Start up the factory!

Screw the ages old dealership model. How dealers screw you over on vehicle prices and also warranty / prepaid contacts is absolutely nuts….

About 20 years ago I bought a Hyundai Accent online for considerably less than I had found it for at the dealerships. I did get to test drive the car I bought, and it was a fairly basic model. It ran well for ten years, then I traded it in for another one. I drove it pretty hard, but kept up the servicing and it stayed in good shape. I believe they didn't have to pay a salesman's commission, or, at least, not a full one.

Why are we allowing people to live in their cars??? Why not make housing affordable? Wtf is wrong with people, no one is doing anything about anything we are just bitching, sitting and watching 😢it’s sad

The amount of battery "break throughs" I have seen over the decades that I have never seen make it to retail outweighs the ones that do by about 20x 😂
